AED Advocates is a Washington Non Profit Corporation located in Yakima, WA.   We have not filed nor are we currently seeking IRS 501 certifications so donations are most likely not tax deductible.  We will be evaluation in the near future which direction we will head.

Initially we were going to be a place for information and advice about AEDs that would be untainted by a sales motivation.  For the first two years we did not sell AEDs for that reason.  To fund AED Advocates charitible goals a sister company, Respond First Aid was established as a for profit  regular Washington Corporation.  We have found it difficult not to blur the line.

So effective 1/1/09 you may support AED Advocates by purchasing AEDs, training and service much as you can buy gifts in a non profit hospitals gift shop or  second hand store.  We feel we can easily demonstrate that our goals are charitible in nature.  We do not feel that we can keep this arms length enough to allow tax deductible contributions, if that changes we will so advise.

AED Advocates maintains an extensive partnership network so we can provide a high level of service nationally and soon internationally.
